On Faith

To whom it may concern:

Today I learned that friendship is strong enough to overcome hate. There are some stories where good people fall away from the pure path, drawn by fear and mistrust, leaving a golden age for one of silver. But sometimes those are only stories.

If you're willing to give friendship a real chance, if you're willing to work at it, then it is stronger than just wishful thinking. You can change somepony by how you treat them. All you need to do is to be willing to decide how you want to feel and act, rather than just reacting to whatever happens to you.

Nothing is inevitable. You can choose what you want to happen.

Give Friendship a Chance

To whom it may concern:

Today I learned that you shouldn't be too quick to assume that somepony's being mean. If you get angry too quickly, you could lose the chance to find out that they don't deserve for you to be upset with them. You have to remember to give friendship a chance.
